A Legacy Deep-Rooted In The Traditions Of Kerala Ayurveda
Sitaram Ayurveda Pharmacy was founded in the year 1921 with the blessings of Maharaja of Cochin, His Highness Rama Varma XV, a visionary who built a system to propagate authentic Ayurveda for the wellness of the people of his kingdom. This initiative of Maharaja of Cochin was brought to life by three eminent personalities, Sri P. Parameshwara Iyer, Sri Gopalakrishna Iyer and Sri Balaram Iyer.
The legacy and tradition were later taken forward by Sri P. Devaraja Iyer, the son of Sri Parameshwara Iyer, and currently by his grandson Dr. Ramanathan Devaraja Iyer who is the current Chief Physician and Managing Director of the company.
